Angel Bins boxed program requires a minimum of 10 (18x18x24) boxes. However, this is only to cover our shipping costs. We encourage you to collect as much shoes as you possibly can. Since our program pays per pound, the more you collect the more you will earn! In addition, Here are a few ways that you can get free boxes for your fundraiser and start earning cash for your cause. It’s simple.

Ideas for Free Boxes

  1. Craigslist. Do a quick search in the “free” section of the craigslist website as people from all over your area will post free listings in this section of the site. This is a great and free way to source boxes for your shoes
  2.  U-haul Box Exchange. U-haul has a message board that allows you to search by location for free boxes in your area. Simply type in the boxes you need (18x18x24) and a listing should show up of all the boxes available near you.
  3. Your workplace. Take a look around the office, ask your manager or coworkers if they have any standard large boxes laying around that you can have. It never hurts to ask around.
  4. Freecycle.org Search the site, join your local group and put out the word or search to see if anyone is already offering them in your area. The sooner you get to posting the better your chances of grabbing those free boxes before your scheduled pick up date approaches.
